Embracing a New Era
Chris received her Dental Assisting Degree in Indianapolis, IN in 1986. She became a Certified Dental Assistant through the Dental Assisting National Board in 1988. Her desire for education and the opportunity to take on more responsibility led to an Expanded Functions Degree from the IU School of Dentistry in 1991. Chris has maintained her dedication to education throughout the years by participating in continuing education. In 2012 she received her Coronal Polishing and Fluoride Certificate from the IU School of Dentistry.
Chris has loyally worked for the same pediatric and orthodontic specialist office, Drs. Clark, Dean and Associates, in Indianapolis as a Clinical Manager and EFCDA for 27 years. In 1996, Chris joined the Gerety team by assisting Kay Gerety with her Basic and Advanced Assistant Training courses each year, enjoying traveling across the country with Kay and Big Bob. Accepting an even greater challenge, Chris has independently presented assistant training courses to smaller groups of assistants in her local area of Indianapolis and in Dallas. We are so excited to welcome Chris into Kay’s Assistant Training program this year as an Associate Instructor.
