As thrilling as it has been for us to be back in the classroom presenting our orthodontic course it has been just as exciting for us to be working with our Online students. The entire Robert G. Gerety Comprehensive Orthodontic Education Program became available on our website in 2011 and it has been an absolute joy to watch the progress and the successes of our new online friends! Thank you to all of our trailblazers who affirmed that our dream could come true!
This online course has been absolutely amazing. Everyone involved with Gerety Orthodontic Seminars has been so helpful and kind. You all respond to questions pretty much immediately, and I truly feel like I have a very solid knowledge of orthodontics from your course. I took the Gerety online straight wire orthodontics course this past spring (2012). I initially looked into taking the online version because my husband and I had our first baby (3 months at the time), and I couldn’t imagine traveling to the onsite course. So I ended up saving time, money and I could stay with my family!
This is a straight forward, thorough course and I have no regrets in taking it. In completing the lectures, quizzes and hands-on projects, I found that I was comfortable in the practical aspects of orthodontics. In purchasing the online course I also have the ability to review any part of the course at any time! I have started my own cases here in the office and this availability is so helpful.
Kay and Dr. Robert Gerety have been supportive and caring as I worked through the material. Each project I completed was graded with such encouraging comments and suggestions.
I would recommend this course to any general or pediatric dentist that wants to pursue orthodontics.
We review information from the online course quite often, not spending much time in one sitting but just refreshing ourselves with a particular upcoming procedure. Since we attended the study club meeting and the update course, our cases have been working out so much better and more predictable. The "My Cases" feature is a great way to get input and guidance on cases that are not as common in our practice. This feature helps to confirm our approach and highlight any potential problem areas as we start the case.

I practice with my father, Dr. David Worrell, who also earlier in his career took your comprehensive Orthodontic Course. We are both graduates from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry. My father in the class of '81 and I graduated in 2011.
I am happy this course was available and for the knowledge I have gained throughout the 4 sections.

I am a recent graduate (2017) from Australia returning to Toronto where I grew up. I am working in my family practice (my father is a general dentist) and so far in the last year and a few months of private practice I have been exposed to a little bit of orthodontic treatment. Our clinical focus is comprehensive general dentistry, so we tend to do a bit of everything. My experience with regards to orthodontics prior to taking this course was mostly limited to changing safe-T-ties and archwires at orthodontic recalls. At this point I am looking to broaden my horizons and add to my existing skillset and was fortunate to come across your online courses allowing me to learn at my own pace as well as being very comprehensive and methodical from treatment planning all the way to completion and retention/recall. I was so impressed by the expertise of all the instructors and couldn’t believe that I was able to start a workup for a case by the 2nd session and had several cases going by the 4th session! Absolutely the best Orthodontic training for Dentists in the country. I’ve taken the comprehensive training twice in 20 years and they have the best instructors. The support during and after the training is ongoing, meaning every question is answered quickly. It’s like having a hundred mentors helping you. These seminars take the general dentist from wanting to do Orthodontics to completing their cases as good or better than a lot of Orthodontists. The instruction and support is second to none!

Anyone who was in that room -- even if they never knew Big Bob or all the history of the work he has dedicated his life to -- could have sensed that this was a golden moment, and one we were all privileged to be a part of. When I think of all the children and adults whose lives have been positively affected by his life's work of demystifying the field of Orthodontics (unlocking the proverbial deadbolt on the door of the graduate ortho clinic -- as Joe would say) so that we can deliver the same repeatable results to our patients who otherwise may never have been able to afford/access this care, it is quite an achievement what he has done. Thanks again for giving us this opportunity and for all the hard work you put into this excellent course.

I have been interested in taking an ortho course for years however cost has been prohibitive, I could not justify the ROI with most courses. However, this course was very affordable and paying per course as opposed to all at once was great. However, with that being said I would now have paid twice as much for this course! For a doctor who had no ortho experience it was completely enlightening. I now have the confidence not only to incorporate comprehensive ortho in to my practice, but know I have the support of Kay, Dr Joe, etc. behind me. The results I am obtaining are fantastic. I have taken many courses by renowned clinicians over the years since 1988, but never did Gerety’s. I wish I had taken this course years ago. This weekend has impacted me greatly. I took Big Bob’s course in 1994-1995 and just started easy, the comprehensive course is an asset to all dentists! Ortho has made a huge impact on my practice, it can save a bad month ad make a good month outstanding! I am helping my patients with airway, a straight smile, and a better future. Every dentist needs an orthodontic education prior to moving teeth. Gerety Orthodontic Seminars is the backbone to future productivity.
My number one fear as a newcomer was that after 2 years I might have made someone worse if their bite opened or they were canted left to right or anterior to posterior. With this system that never happened in over 20 years. I attend this symposium after following Big Bob’s principles for over 20 years and it confirmed much of what we had been doing all that time, but also reintroduced us to things that we had forgotten. It was much needed and well worth the time and the cost.
I have come to this class many times and have never been disappointed. I always learn many new techniques and get a refresher on the old ones.

I wish I had taken this course years ago. Kay and her 'girls' really help in explaining without making you feel dumb for asking. They are very friendly and encouraging. I was slightly intimidated before taking the beginner course but Kay and the girls make you feel like you have been doing this for years. They help give you confidence and understanding and make it easy.
I was very excited about meeting Kay and learning new things. I was so pleased with her teaching. I can't believe how helpful and hands on Kay was. I loved the first day and couldn't wait to go back the second day. Extremely pleased and excited to go back home to share with the remaining staff. The staff and Kay were so helpful and sweet. Thank you for everything. We really enjoyed ourselves.
