If you are like many of us and need to complete your required participation or lecture CE credits then let us help. We have solutions that will help you achieve your goals. We are offering the Robert Gerety Comprehensive Orthodontic Education Program both in the classroom and online, you decide where and when you receive your orthodontic education whether it is as a new student to orthodontics or as a past student with a desire to enhance their knowledge. Both the classroom and the online course present the same lecture material, the same hands-on projects, and both programs offer CE credits.
Whether it is online or in the classroom, our Comprehensive Orthodontic Education program is ideally structured for the general dentist who has had no orthodontic training other than dental school. Just as you have learned a specific procedure for every other aspect of dentistry, our method of teaching orthodontics will provide you with a predictable technique for orthodontic treatment. Each session builds on information, presented in the same sequence you will encounter in treatment delivery. When you have completed this course, you will have the knowledge, skill, and confidence to treat 80% of the malocclusions that come into your office. Now it is up to you to decide whether you would like a classroom setting or if you prefer the convenience of accessing the program online when and where your schedule allows.
If you are more comfortable in a classroom setting, then it is not too late to join is in Tulsa! We have just completed session 1 of the 5 sessions, with session 2 coming up December 4-6 and we are still welcoming new students to join us. If you have a desire to join our current group then we will give you access to session one of our online course to insure that you have covered the same material that we presented in class and that you have the opportunity to complete the hands-on projects before you come to session 2 in Tulsa. Our classroom program allows you to earn 100 CE credits during this 5 session course and another 100 CE credits when you return next year to monitor the course during the next 5 session course. We feel that monitoring is so important to continuing your education that we provide the opportunity to all of our first year students to return as monitors free of charge during the next course and we supply the option to earn another 100 CE credits by attending all 5 sessions as a monitor.
We are welcoming and encouraging our past students to join us in Tulsa as monitors. Big Bob believes that continuing to monitor the program is a vital step in the learning process by reinforcing the mechanics that you have been introduced to and by addressing your practical questions as you move into case finishing. We hope that his students will continue to participate in the course and bring along their cases to be reviewed by the group. You can register for each session individually as a monitor, which gives you the flexibility to choose the topics that will help your growth the most. Each of the sessions offers 20 CE credits to our students who are monitoring the program. As a special benefit to our past students, we will waive your monitoring tuition for all of the remaining sessions when you refer a colleague who registers for the course as a first year student.
