Embracing a New Era
Our trip to Dallas was so exciting for us and it was such a pleasure to see so many familiar faces. After all the years we have spent teaching in Dallas it was like being at a class reunion. We traveled to Dallas with our friends from Straight Wire Seminars and had such an incredible time presenting our orthodontic continuing educations alternatives. We truly appreciate that so many of our past students visited our booth and we had the opportunity to catch up with each other’s lives. We also got to meet and make new friends who have the desire to learn orthodontics and we had the pleasure of introducing them to the Robert Gerety Comprehensive Orthodontic program that we have so proudly taught throughout the country for the past 35 years.
We had so much good news to share! During the convention we were able to provide tours of our website and of our online orthodontic course and the positive responses and the enthusiasm we received were tremendous. Our students were relieved to know that Big Bob’s ortho course is available for them to review online and to use as a training aid for their staff. The doctors new to orthodontics were also excited to hear that they have the ability to learn orthodontics online without taking time away from their families and practices.
The good news continued! We shared information with doctors who want to either begin their orthodontic studies or who want to review and update their straight wire technique and mechanics that we are offering our ortho seminars both Online and Onsite in the classroom. We have developed a complete program for the General Dentist to learn ortho plus train the staff as well.　 Our students have the flexibility of participating in our online ortho course from the comfort of their home or office, or attending our onsite classroom course in Tulsa, OK. We have partnered with Straight Wire Seminars to present Big Bob’s course in Tulsa, OK and are thrilled to be back in action!　 Kay Gerety is being joined by Dr. Joe Schmidbauer to teach the program. Dr Schmidbauer is currently teaching the Gerety techniques in his course in Atlanta, is a past President of the AOS and is currently serving on their Board of Examiners.　We are so excited that he has joined our team!
